Adelicious Coffee & Treats ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Adelicious Rewards mobile application (the "App").
This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our App.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information to provide and improve our service:
1.1 Account Information
- Email address — used for account registration and authentication
- Display name — shown on your loyalty card and profile
- Phone number (optional) — used for Tuk Tuk booking contact
- Profile photo (optional) — displayed on your account
1.2 Loyalty Programme Data
- Loyalty card stickers and redemption history
- QR code identifiers for sticker awards and card redemption
- Card status (active, full, redeemed)
1.3 Location Data
- Approximate location — used to display the Tuk Tuk's distance from you on the "Find Us" screen
- Location is only accessed while you are using the App
- We do not track your location in the background
1.4 Device & Usage Data
- Push notification tokens (for sending loyalty updates)
- Device type and operating system version
- App usage analytics (via Firebase)
1.5 Booking Information
- Contact name, email, and phone number
- Event address and preferred date/time
- Special requests or messages
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your account
- To operate the loyalty card programme (stickers, rewards, redemptions)
- To generate and scan QR codes for sticker awards and reward redemptions
- To show the Tuk Tuk's location and your distance from it
- To process and manage Tuk Tuk booking requests
- To send push notifications about your loyalty card status and promotions
- To improve and maintain the App
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication).
Firebase data is hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit.
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Firebase security rules restricting data access to authorised users
- Secure authentication via email/password and Google Sign-In
- HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Google Firebase — for authentication, database, analytics, and push notifications
- Google Maps Platform — for displaying Tuk Tuk location on a map
- App store providers (Google Play / Apple) — as required for app distribution
We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate information via your Profile screen
- Delete your account and all associated data via the Account Deletion option in your Profile screen
- Opt out of push notifications via your device settings
- Withdraw consent for location access via your device settings
6. Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly from the App. To do so:
- Open the Profile screen in the App.
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
- A confirmation dialog will appear. To confirm deletion, type the word delete in the text field and tap the Delete button.
Once confirmed, the following data will be permanently and irreversibly removed from our database:
- Loyalty cards and stickers
- Sticker transactions and redemption history
- Booking requests
- Profile information (name, email, phone, birthday, profile photo)
- Gamification data (stats, XP, tier, achievements)
- Firebase Authentication account
This action cannot be undone. If you have changed your mind or wish to keep your data, tap Cancel instead.
If you are unable to access the App, you may also request account deletion by contacting us at
adelicious1979@gmail.com.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect
personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your
child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide
our services. When you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days,
except where we are required to retain it by law.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by
posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. You are
advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
